About the role
Compassion Uganda is seeking a Field Officer based in Eastern Uganda to support the implementation of our child sponsorship programmes through local church partners. The Field Officer will work directly with church-based Child Development Centres, providing training, monitoring, and support to ensure programme quality and child wellbeing.
This role requires someone who is passionate about child development, comfortable working in rural communities, and committed to Compassion's church-based model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years' field experience in development or social work
- Motorcycle riding permit (required for field visits)
- Strong report-writing skills
- Fluency in Lugisu or Ateso an advantage
- Committed Christian
