African Enterprise (AE) Uganda has announced preparations are well underway for the Gulu City Mission 2026, scheduled for 12–19 April 2026 — a city-wide evangelistic mission targeting Gulu's 600,000 residents across schools, prisons, marketplaces, hospitals, and open-air venues.
The mission will deploy over 200 trained evangelists, pastors, and volunteers from more than 60 local churches, working together across denominational lines to bring the message of Christ to every sector of Gulu city. The mission follows AE Uganda's successful Mbarara City Mission in 2024 and Jinja City Mission in 2023.
AE Uganda National Director Joshua Kasirye said the mission represents a significant investment in Northern Uganda's ongoing healing and transformation. "Gulu has come through immense suffering — the LRA war, displacement, and trauma that still affects hundreds of thousands of people. We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the deepest answer to Gulu's deepest wounds."
Churches across Uganda are invited to partner with the mission through prayer teams, financial giving, and sending evangelists. The mission's opening service will be held on 12 April 2026 at Gulu University Grounds. Registration is open on the AE Uganda website.
